VPN won't connect: what to check
Most of the time Faygo Connect fails to connect for a simple reason: the subscription has run out, the key was pasted with a typo, or the chosen server is temporarily overloaded. Go through the checks in order — it's usually fixed by step three.
- #won't connect
- #connection error
- #key not working
- #server choice
Step by step
- 1
Check the subscription in your account: the status should read Your subscription is active. If it isn't, renew it — the key won't connect without a subscription.
- 2
Copy the key from Manage key again and paste it into the app in full — no spaces or stray characters at the start or end.
- 3
Switch servers: choose Best server or any other location. A single location may be overloaded or unreachable from your network.
- 4
Look at the service status page: it shows whether servers or the account area are under maintenance.
- 5
Fully quit and relaunch Faygo Connect. If the app is outdated, update it from the store or grab a fresh installer from the instructions page.
- 6
Still stuck — message support on Telegram or email support@faygovpn.com. Include your device, the app version and what exactly happens when you connect.
Good to know
- Some networks (office or hotel Wi-Fi) block VPNs at the network level — try mobile data.
- Another VPN or proxy running at the same time gets in the way — turn it off.
- On Windows, make sure your antivirus or firewall isn't blocking Faygo Connect.
